TKO Joint Schools' Music Concert

Hundreds of students and parents enjoyed the first Tseung Kwan O schools’ music festival on 10 April 2014.

The grand show involved 3 schools, including GT College, Logos Academy and our school, with 8 conductors, 11 music teachers and 292 performers.

In the one and a half hour event, the schools performed a wide-ranging programme, including A Capella, handchime, string ensemble, choir, rock band and orchestra. They won huge applause from the audience who filled up the CSS school hall.

CSS Principal Cheung Siu-ming spoke after the show, saying that the music festival was fantastic. He was happy that the synergy of the three schools made “one plus one plus one more than three”. He hopes the joint school activity will continue to be held in  future years.

Principal Raymond Tam of GT College and Principal Paul Cho of Logos Academy were also pleased to see the event so successfully conducted.

Students from Buckswood School

visited CSS

On 4th April a group of 14 students from Buckswood School, an IB school in the UK, came to visit CSS, specifically to experience the learning culture here. They spent their afternoon in Chinese Language Acquisition lessons and worked with our CSS students. We are impressed by their students' commitment to learn the Chinese language and our students enjoyed this opportunity to interact with young people of their age from a different country and culture.
