APPLICATION GUIDELINES

 

Eligibility to Apply

• The school welcomes applications to Secondary 2, 3, 4 and 5 for the start of every new academic year, as well as special applications to transfer to our school in the middle of the academic year.

• Placement is not dependent upon age or number of years of school experience.

 

Application Procedures

• Applicants should submit online application to our school, together with the following documents:

  • A recent digitized photo of the applicant.

  • Applicant’s Hong Kong Identity Card / Birth Certificate / passport / study visa (in case of non-local applicants, a copy of student’s passport or other travel document with a copy of his/her personal details are also required.).

  • Applicant’s school assessment reports in the past two years.

  • 1-2 mins self-introduction video in English and Putonghua.

  • Certificates of awards, such as art, music, sports, etc (if any).

  • Other supporting documents, such as recommendation / reference letters from previous school or other organizations (if any). 

  • Relevant medical report issued by doctors / psychologists (if any).​

 

Evaluation Criteria

The offer of a school place depends on a holistic evaluation of the applicant’s readiness to study at CSS, based on a study of the followings:

• The applicant’s school assessment reports.

• The recommendation / reference letters (if any).

• The applicant’s performance in his/her admission interview.

 

Interview Arrangement

Suitable applicants will be invited to attend a written assessment including English, Chinese and Mathematics. Only selected applicants will be invited back for an interview after the written assessment.
