MYP Coordinator

The school invites experienced IB educators to apply for the position of MYP Coordinator, starting in August 2020. 

The school has been an authorised MYP school since 2009, and the programme is thriving well, under the leadership of an MYP team led by the current postholder. We operate a 3 year MYP culminating with the Community Project, through which we deliver the Hong Kong junior secondary curriculum.  For more details of the programme and the school please visit our website. 

 

This is a position for which the following are essential:

  • A recognised teaching qualification i.e. PGDE or equivalent
  • Successful teaching experience in the IB Middle Years Programme
  • Middle Leadership capacity, including successful experience of a leadership position

 

This is a position for which the following are preferred:

  • appropriate IB MYP workshop training
  • experience of the MYP Community Project
  • capacity to teach more than one subject
