Ms. Hannah Standring BA (Hons), DELTA, MA, PGCE
Having studied Literature as a first degree at University of Ulster (NI), Ms. Standring started as a teacher in 1999 in Colombia, teaching on the Naval base in Cartagena De Indias. Her love for teaching grew with the knowledge of the subject. She then spent eighteen months in Thailand both teaching at a secondary school and subsequently helping to set up an educational NGO in Khorat. She was then appointed Director of Studies at a school in Seville, Spain where she worked for a year, before completing a Master’s Degree in Diplomatic Studies at Leicester University. The next seven years were spent lecturing in ESOL at Nottingham and Bradford Universities and Leicester College. During this time she also completed the Cambridge DELTA in Barcelona and the City & Guilds ESOL Subject Specialist qualifications. She arrived in Hong Kong in June 2011 and spent one year as a NET at Ying Wa College before joining CSS in 2012.
