Return to School for MY1 & F.1-F.5

Tuesday 22 September 2020

Dear Parents,

The school has successfully welcomed our form six students last week for orientation and tomorrow we will welcome back our MY1, Form 1 and Form 5 students back on campus as well. Forms 2, 3 and 4 will return on 29 September for half-day lessons.

In order to be safely welcomed back on campus, all students must bring with them the health declaration form posted to your home address and the temperature record form which must be completed and signed by Parent every day. We are unable to welcome students back onto campus if they have not completed the health declaration form with a parent or guardian signature. If you don’t have a health declaration form, you can download it here, fill it in and print it and return it with your child tomorrow.

If you are bringing your child back to campus, additional forms will be available at the security guard house for you to complete before your child will be allowed to enter the campus. My responsibility to ensure the health and well-being of all students and staff on campus is taken very seriously and I regret any inconvenience it may cause to those students who return to school without their health declaration form because we will not be able to let them join their classmates in campus until they have completed the health declaration form.

For Form 1 and Form 5 students, online lessons will finish today and will be replaced by face-to-face on campus lessons starting from tomorrow. Likewise, for Forms 2, 3 and 4, online lessons will cease next Monday, 28 September (DAY B) and be replaced by face-to-face on campus lessons starting from Tuesday, 29 September 2020 (DAY C).

All students are reminded that they must be back on campus by 8 am and in their house rooms by 8:05 am. We will continue to mark students late who are not back at school on time. As the traffic

situation across Hong Kong will be heavy in the coming week, we suggest your child starts their journey earlier so that they can arrive back to school on time. Please remind your child to bring back their laptop fully-charged and also a full bottle of drinking water labelled with their name and class when they return to campus. Form 1 and other students who have ordered a laptop through the school will receive the laptops tomorrow in their house rooms.

We look forward to the resumption of face-to-face lessons and thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation in these matters.

Yours sincerely,

Dr. Anthony Adames
