Devising theatre means creating a performance collaboratively with a group of artists that is without hierarchy, nor a specific creation formula. The DP1 Theatre students, as part of their Devising Days Unit, created two devised performances for our school community based on the themes of identity, self-recognition, expectation, and the struggle to escape.
With the stress of examinations, the theatre students had successfully performed on 9th December during lunch time! A large number of students and teachers were there to support the event, and we even held a meaningful post-show discussion to talk about issues explored in the show!
