At Creative Secondary School (CSS), we recently celebrated the transition of our Form 3 students from junior to senior form. While not all schools have a graduation ceremony for Form 3 students, we want to acknowledge the hard work and growth of our students over the past three years.
Our Form 3 students demonstrated remarkable progress in developing essential soft skills like independence, problem-solving, and time management. Moving into the senior form means embracing teamwork, collaboration, and leadership, as students face new challenges and opportunities.
On June 29, 2023, our Form 3 students celebrated their MYP graduation in a memorable ceremony that was entirely student-led. The students took on different roles, including MC duties, musical performances, and media presentations. Parents, teachers, and supporting staff attended the event, all proud of the students' accomplishments.
Acting Principal Ms. Lancy Tam gave an inspiring speech during the ceremony, highlighting the significance of the transition from "me" to "we." She congratulated all Form 3 students and emphasized that the students had spent their junior years developing essential soft skills like independence, problem-solving, and time management. As the students move into their senior years, they will need to build on these skills, as teamwork and collaboration become increasingly important in their lives, and will be a focus of their learning in the senior form.
The ceremony was not just about speeches and awards. It was also an opportunity to have some fun and celebrate the students' achievements. The event included fun awards and musical performances that kept everyone entertained throughout the ceremony.
The ceremony was also a joyous occasion, filled with laughter, music, and celebration. It was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Form 3 students, who demonstrated remarkable growth and development during their time at the school.
