National Constitution Day

Today is National Constitution Day as the nation celebrate the promulgation of the Constitution of the People's Republic of China on 4 December 1982 by the 5th National People's Congress. It is also known as the Supreme Law of the People's Republic of China.

To mark this event during face-to-face class suspension, Creative Secondary School raised the National Flag, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's Flag and the School Flag by the Principal, Director of Administration and the Director of Student Development and Wellbeing in the presence of staff on campus.

It is important that a citizen of any country to know more about their own nation's constitution, its origins and its intent as well as the text itself. Likewise, any resident should know more about the laws and customs of any place they call home. Through inquiry, analysis and collaboration, we can know more about the nation we live in.

As an IB World School, we seek to fulfil the IB Mission statement of aiming to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
