Congratulations to Yo Yo Chan’s admission to the Faculty of Business Administration, The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Nominated by the school, Yo Yo Chan from F6 Jacaranda has been directly admitted to the Faculty of Business Administration, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) specializing in Hospitality and Real Estate through the School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme (SNDAS) before HKDSE examination result releases.
School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme (SNDAS) has been introduced with the aim of recognising the talents of local secondary students that cannot be fully assessed by the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination. It provides opportunities for secondary students who have demonstrated exceptional talents and interests in specific disciplines/areas to be considered for direct admission to local universities.
Yo Yo is a keen sportswoman and has been actively participating in various sports and competitions. She is a player of the Hong Kong Water Polo team and attained outstanding results in national and international water polo competitions.
This year, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) received around 300 nominations and 53 students were admitted. The acceptance rate is about 20%. Yo Yo’s persevering attitude, strong communication and leadership skills as well as great passion in business made her stand out from the rest of the candidates.
