National Taiwan Normal University visits CSS

On 27 March, Professor Sharon Hsiao-Lan Chen from the Graduate Institute of Curriculum and Instruction, National Taiwan Normal University visited Creative Secondary School with two colleagues, after attending the IB Global Conference held in Hong Kong the day before. They found out that CSS is a state-subsidized school with both an international curriculum and local tertiary curriculum, which is a very different dynamic from most private-owned international schools. They were very keen to learn more about our curriculum model, our core values and our commitment to promoting both English and Chinese languages.

The trend of state-supported schools offering the IB curriculum is accelerating in the region, particularly in China, as witnessed in the recent IB conference.
