1.  Teaching Assistant (Chinese faculty; Chinese Language and Culture Promotion)

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Standard

  • Ability to work in a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good command in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Chinese Input Method etc.

  • Pleasant personality

  • Assist in administrative work, preparation of lesson materials, and in-class support

  • Support the Chinese culture promotion Team  

  • Performing any other duties as assigned

2. Dance Choreographer (2 Positions) – 2025–2026 School Musical

 

Location: Creative Secondary School, Hong Kong
Contract Type: Part-Time, Fixed Term (August 2025 – December 2025)
Rehearsal Commitment: Weekly rehearsals + select Saturdays
Start Date: August 2025

About the Role


Creative Secondary School is seeking two passionate and experienced Dance Choreographers to collaborate on our 2025–2026 School Musical, scheduled for performance in December 2025. Working closely with the Musical’s directing team, the
choreographers will co-create and teach ensemble choreography for approximately 10 musical theatre dance numbers.

 

The production will feature a diverse cast of approximately 38 students aged 13 to 17, with a wide range of dance abilities. The choreographers will play a central role in shaping the students’ performance experience, fostering growth, confidence, and creativity through dance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the musical’s directing team to choreograph and teach 10 ensemble dance numbers.

  • Lead weekly rehearsals from August to December 2025: (Thursdays 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (1.5 hours/week)

  • Lead 8 Saturday rehearsals, each lasting 4 hours.

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and expression.

  • Attend and support the following tech rehearsals and performance dates:

    • Tech Week Schedule:

      • Monday, Dec 15 — 3.5 hours

      • Tuesday, Dec 16 — 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (4 hours)

      • Wednesday, Dec 17 — 9:00 AM–1:00 PM & 3:30 PM–8:30 PM (9 hours)

      • Thursday, Dec 18 — 4:30 PM–8:30 PM (4 hours)

  • Be present during tech week to finalize choreography, assist with stage spacing, and give performance notes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience choreographing for musical theatre, preferably with youth or school-aged performers.

  • Strong ensemble choreography and movement coaching skills.

  • Collaborative, reliable, and communicative professional approach.

  • Able to work with students of mixed backgrounds and learning styles.

  • Full availability for all scheduled rehearsals and performances.
