1. Performing Arts Technician

​

We are seeking a Performing Arts Technician to support the Music and Drama departments to facilitate excellent teaching and learning.
This will include technical support for all school productions, concerts, assemblies and performances along with responsibility for
The maintenance of lighting, sound, audio/visual, drama and music department equipment and recording/editing of performances.

In addition, this role will include assisting in the ordering and managing of materials and equipment, assisting staff and students during
Assisting a safe and clean working environment, sourcing of costumes/props and helping plan, design and construct sets for
Performances and assisting in productions for the Arts Faculty as a whole.

• Qualifications/training in technical theatre, lighting and/or sound design is essential

• Previous experience in coordinating sound/lighting for large and small scale performances is essential

• As an EMI school, fluency in English is essential and fluency in Cantonese preferred

• Experience in educational settings is preferred but not required

• Entry level applicants are welcomed
