This year, our community came together under the theme of sustainability, reflecting our shared commitment to building a future that balances innovation with environmental responsibility. On Saturday, 15 November 2025, over 1,300 people joined us for the CSS Open Day 2025, where families, students, alumni, and visitors experienced our vibrant learning environment.

It was so amazing to have the whole community come together. Everyone had the opportunity to share the learning that goes on in the classroom, connect, and get a closer look at what we do every day.
Throughout the day, there were many valuable highlights. The day began with a warm, welcoming speech by our school supervisor, Mr. Victor Fong. Joining him were Mr. Stephen Hindes, the principal of CSS, and Ms. Ann Ng, the principal of CPSKG, who also graced the occasion with their presence. Following this, our Guest of Honour, Dr. Eve Nwaogu Chan (陳敏軒女士), delivered an inspiring keynote address on sustainability. Dr. Chan commended the school’s efforts in promoting sustainable development and encouraged everyone to think globally and act locally. She also emphasized the need for a balanced approach to intellectual, environmental, and social growth.

The opening ceremony concluded with a creative flower-planting activity: student representatives, the three school principals, and Dr. Chan planted seeds together by hand, a simple yet powerful act that symbolized our shared hope and responsibility for the future.

We were deeply touched by how parents, visitors, and alumni cheered on our students and joined in the celebration. We were delighted to see everyone enjoying the informative faculty booths and presentations, school tours led by senior students, student-run charity game booths, visual arts and Design Technology displays, as well as lively music and drama performances. Every corner of the campus reflected the care and effort of our learning community.

Most importantly, this event would not have been as successful without the hard work of our students and staff. Their planning, creativity, and generosity of time made the Open Day both memorable and impactful.

Once again, thank you for being part of CSS Open Day 2025. We hope you left with a deeper understanding of our values and a shared excitement for what lies ahead.
Together, let us look forward to celebrating 20 years of excellence in education!
