On 5 June 2026, CSS held our Form 6 Graduation Ceremony, marking an important milestone for the Class of 2026, while celebrating the achievements of our graduates as they prepare for new journeys ahead.
This year's ceremony took place in a setting that reflected the creative identity of CSS. The venue featured student work connected to HKDSE and IBDP Music performances, theatre productions, as well as our Visual Arts pieces. These elements brought an added sense of artistic energy to the occasion and reflected the breadth of learning across the school.

Our School Supervisor, Mr. Victor Fong, opened the ceremony by emphasizing the importance of critical thinking, empathy, and kindness. His message reminded graduates that leadership is shaped not only by achievement, but also by character and care for others.
We were also pleased to have Ms Marisa Yiu as our Guest of Honour. She is the co-founder and Executive Director of Design Trust, a charity funding creative research for social and cultural impact across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

Drawing from her architectural career, she spoke about building community through curiosity and open-mindedness. Turning her focus to the students' own journeys, she left them with three powerful words: Drive, Discipline, and Determination. These words empowered our graduates to step into the future boldly, fearlessly, and ready to design their own pathways.

Taking the stage to address the graduating class, Principal Mr. Stephen Hindes delivered a moving message using the metaphor of a tree. He reminded graduates that visible achievements emerge from strong foundations built through resistance, just as seeds must push through darkness before reaching sunlight. He encouraged them to value resilience as much as accomplishment and to keep growing in all directions, noting that “whether it is a great idea or a wonderful career, they all start here.” With this reminder, he inspired the graduates to carry their strong roots forward and continue growing in every direction.
The rest of the celebration was also filled with meaningful highlights, including the certificate presentations, student performances, graduation speeches, and moments of shared reflection.
The Form 6 Band performed a captivating medley of 'The Greatest Work', a selection from La La Land, and 'True Colors'. Another highlight was the student-produced music video for Every Time We Say Goodbye, presented through a duet by our Form 6 students Myc and Daniel Quilicot, with the MV designed and recorded by Daniel himself.
Adding a deeply personal touch to the ceremony, four student representatives shared reflections that wove together personal memories and collective growth. Simran and Tianna recalled formative moments, teacher support, and navigating pandemic learning through HKDSE pressures that shaped their resilience. Arham brought a deeper lens, encouraging graduates to view education beyond status and consider how their future work can serve humanity. Meanwhile, Andy reminded peers that youth unfolds through lessons learned, and failure is simply a stepping stone for growth. Together, their voices revealed a graduating class marked by gratitude, maturity, and social consciousness.
In the closing moments, the Passing of the Torch highlighted the lasting connection between cohorts as Form 6 students passed the CSS spirit to Form 5.The programme concluded with Graduates' Moments, a touching montage of Year 6 student events and warm wishes from their parents, before graduates presented flowers to their teachers and parents in a final gesture of gratitude.
As we bring this beautiful chapter to a close, CSS extends our sincere thanks to all parents, teachers, and staff for their guidance and support.
To the Class of 2026, as you design your own pathways, keep growing in all directions like trees reaching for the light. May your roots run deep, and your branches touch the sky, knowing that through this place you thrive, you serve, and you find your place in the world.
