Every now and then, we come across someone who truly stands out in their profession. Someone who goes above and beyond the call of duty to make a real difference in the lives of those they serve. At Creative Secondary School in Hong Kong, we have one such individual in our midst - Ms Priscilla Koo.
Ms Koo has recently been covered in Little Steps Asia and nominated as one of the "Teachers Who Rock". And it's easy to see why. As the Head of School Life, English, Individuals, and Societies, Ms Koo is responsible for a wide range of activities that contribute to the personal growth of her students.
One of her key responsibilities is taking care of all university student applications. This is no small feat, and Ms Koo's dedication to ensuring that each student gets the support they need is truly commendable. She also oversees the student leadership programme for the House Committee, Student Union, and Student Council, which helps students develop their leadership skills and become more confident in their abilities.
But Ms Koo's impact goes far beyond these administrative duties. She is also responsible for organizing experiential learning activities such as curriculum extension visits, co-curricular activities, the Creative Christmas Festival, Creative Chinese Festival, and Creative Week. These events provide students with a chance to explore new areas of interest, learn new skills, and build lasting relationships with their peers.
We are #proud of you Priscilla!
