CSS student wins an elder appreciation photography competition

Congratulations to Mahina Wong (F3 Ju) whose picture “Love breaks the obstacles”won the second runner-up in the student category of “GrandChampions” - an Elder Appreciation Photography Competition organized by Mighty Oaks Foundation.


The competition is to recognize and celebrate the contributions of the elders around us. Mahina’s picture “Love breaks the obstacles” is a portrait of herself and her grandmother joining hands to form a love sign. Her statement for the picture is “Suffering is felt through many different generations, but the strength of love is prevalent among every single one, from the first to last.”


The charity will organize a number of exhibitions to showcase its best entries around Hong Kong in May and June. Details can be found in Mighty Oaks’ website: https://mighty-oaks.org
