A group of our F4 and F5 DSE students participated in the Mock Trial Competition organized by The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention on 14 April 2019. They won the Mock Trial Competition held in High Court.
The students performed well throughout the trial. Felicia Yap (F4 De) and Miko Lam (F5 Ba) were both commended by the judge as good lawyers. Besides winning the competition, Miko Lam (F5 Ba) won the Best Lawyer and Claudia Yip (F5 Ba) won the Best Witness in this round.
The team was well led by Ms Liu our Head of Liberal Studies. After series of training with our Liberal Studies teachers and external lawyer coaches, students made tremendous improvement in their self-confidence, critical thinking and presentation skills.
