On 18 June 2025, MY1 students took part in an engaging potato planting activity as part of the I&S "Food Fight" unit. They researched the best seasonal methods for planting potatoes, gaining firsthand insights into organic produce and seasonal eating—cornerstones for developing sustainable food consumption habits.

Working together on the school's lower ground floor, the students showcased wonderful teamwork and enthusiasm. Their collaborative efforts turned classroom theory into lived experience, reinforcing the idea that sustainable practices begin with small, everyday actions.

We are excited to build on these foundations and look forward to more dynamic projects that prepare our students to be proactive in creating a sustainable world.
