Having gone through many generations of inheritance and development, Chinese paintings have become the world′s artistic and cultural treasure. Students can build a comprehensive understanding of traditional Chinese culture by learning traditional Chinese painting. Three F1 students, Ada, Carson, and Romeo, enjoyed learning traditional Chinese painting. Although it was challenging to master the skills of painting with a calligraphy brush, including the darkness of the ink and the direction of each brushstroke, the three students overcame these difficulties with the support and guidance of the teachers. They learnt more about the history of Chinese painting, the artist Wu Guanzhong, and develop more confidence in doing Chinese painting after attending the lessons.
